For 16 years they were on staff with Word of Life Centre in Central Alberta as Youth Pastors, Pastors, Associate Pastors, extension pastors in Olds Alberta and Bible College Directors. In 1994, Brian and Connie were released by the Holy Ghost and with full blessing of the Local Church. They are part of a new organization formed by Word of Life Centre Church and Ministries Red Deer called "Word to the World." Brian is a Prophetic /Evangelist that has been sent out from Word to the World to bless the Body of Christ. Since then, Brian has been privileged to minister in more than 50 denominations and Ministerial Streams!
Brian has received his Doctorate of Practical Ministries with Wagner Leadership Institute, and Connie has completed her Masters level March 2005.
He has written a book on Evangelism and Youth Ministry, called “How to Reach the Lost Generation,” Published by Destiny Image.
Since September 1993, Brian has traveled extensively and ministers in Evangelism rallies, conducts miracle crusades, youth conventions, conferences, prophetic meetings, and training seminars. He ministers across Canada, USA and has made many mission trips to countries like India, Kenya, Uganda, Kazakhstan, England, Philippines, Japan, China and Mexico.
With a unique comedy approach he stirs people of all ages to do something great for God. He loves to motivate and encourage people to stir up the Gifts of the Holy Spirit, and loves to train in the "How to's" of Christian Ministry. God gave Brian a unique strategy in praying for the sick and he teaches this "L" prayer model in training times before Healing meetings. God uses Brian and the people of all ages he trains up to see mighty miracles such as: blind eyes healed, deaf ears, crippled legs, cancer, asthma, arthritis, and many others sicknesses healed. In countless services, everyone with pain receives an instant miracle from the Lord.
Brian will always have a love for young people and a faith that God will use them to perform exploits in the future moves of His Spirit according to Acts 2:17. He is the author of a powerful book on Youth Ministry and Evangelism called, "How to Reach the Lost Generation."
As part of the WLI Teaching Faculty, Brian's courses are all recognized so a student can apply to receive training units towards an Associate, Bachelor, Masters and Doctorate Diplomas in Practical Ministry.
Brian is also the Associate Director of Word of Life Bible College in Red Deer, Alberta, Canada, a dynamic local Church Bible College that closely trains and mentors. Music School, Multi-media and communicative Arts and a Business College are part of the training venues as well as the Ministry as a Career Venue, Church Planting and Ministry Finishing School.
Some of Brian's teaching manuals and seminars include: The Gift of Healing, The Gift of Prophesy, Power Evangelism, Kindness Evangelism, Marriage Enrichment, Experiencing Bible Truths and the Life of Abraham.
In
the past few years, Brian and Connie have seen an increase in the healing anointing.
They have traveled across Canada, the U.S., and on many mission trips, and have
seen God use them to heal blind eyes, deaf ears, crippled legs, cancer, asthma,
arthritis, and many other sicknesses. In many services, everyone with pain receives
an instant miracle from the Lord.
The Lord has given Brian a fresh approach to his meetings. His humorous style
proves that a merry heart does good like a medicine. The joy of the Lord flows
generously throughout his meetings. Illustrated sermons help to bring alive
a message from the Lord. This picture is taken from a message called: "Hey
Ilene, Get the devil off your back." This example, often with the help
of the pastor dressed up as Ilene, serves to illustrate how many sicknesses
are caused by an oppression of the devil, for example in Luke 13 Jesus healed
a women that was bent over for 18 years.
Brian has served as Director/Principal of the Word of Life Bible College for eight years. He is well known as a man called to train up full-time ministers as well as equip the saints for the work of the ministry (Eph. 4:11,12). As a trainer, he takes great joy in not just teaching, but seeing people inspired and equipped to move in the application of his teaching. Some of the Bible College classes that he has taught and is available to teach include: Gifts of the Spirit, Gift of Healing; Evangelism; Power Evangelism; Book of Acts Life of Paul; Gospels; Youth Ministry; Bible Memory/Meditation; Life of Abraham; Old Testament Survey; Benefits of the Atonement; New Creation Realities; Christology; Homiletics; Beatitudes; Leadership Development.

Brian
is a committed trainer of young people. By God's Spirit, the youth ministry at
Word of Life Centre grew under his leadership to become a strong vibrant youth
ministry in Western Canada.

For sixteen years, Brian Thomson worked closely with me as Associate Pastor. He has been extensively involved with the youth as well as many other ministries in the Church. Brian was also a major influence in establishing the Word of Life Bible College in 1989.
In 1993, Brian became involved in crusade evangelism on foreign fields. Since that time, he has been traveling more, ministering in Miracle Crusades, Retreats, Youth Conferences, and Training Seminars to help strengthen Churches and build stronger relationships with Churches especially in Western Canada.
We believe the Holy Spirit has spoken about releasing his ministry to the Body of Christ. The Holy Spirit confirmed this direction in prophetic presbytery meetings.
We have formed a new organization called "Word to the World." The purpose of "Word to the World" is to strengthen Churches, to plant new Churches and do missions work world wide. We are sending Brian to travel with "Word to the World" to minister to the Body of Christ. He will continue to minister in the local Church and teach in the Bible College.
